Learn more about the geological history of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage by walking on the geology trail. The Oswald von Wolkenstein path leads to the ruins of Hauenstein that watches over Siusi. During the late Middle Ages the famous minstrel and poet Oswald von Wolkenstein was in possession of this beautiful castle. The area around the Sciliar is full of mythical creatures, such as the Sciliar witches or the herb women called “Bregostans”.
